01

Be legible

People adopt AI when it behaves like a reliable teammate: clear intent, consistent tone, and a visible reasoning trail.

02

Expose uncertainty

A small ‘not sure’ moment builds more trust than a confident guess that breaks a workflow.

Show ranges, alternatives, and the data the system used to decide.

03

Give users control

Quick edits, approvals, and ‘undo’ paths make experimentation safe — which is the precondition for adoption.

04

Close the loop

Use feedback to improve outcomes, not just to collect thumbs-up. Show users what changed because of them.
